Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using TaskScout's maintenance management platform, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement.

Important Notice

These terms apply to all users of our platform, including organizations, maintenance vendors, technicians, and residential customers. Please read these terms carefully before using our services.

Service Description

TaskScout provides a comprehensive maintenance management platform that includes:

User Management

  • • Hierarchical role-based access control

  • • Technician assignment and scheduling
  • • Residential customer marketplace access
  • • Multi-location support for businesses
  • • Real-time notifications and updates

User Responsibilities

Account Security

  • • Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • • Use strong passwords and enable two-factor authentication when available
  • • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach
  • • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

Acceptable Use

  • • Provide accurate and complete information when creating tickets or work orders
  • • Respect other users and maintain professional communication
  • • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
  • • Use the platform only for legitimate maintenance and business purposes

Payment Terms & Billing

Subscription & Fees

  • • Free 30-day trial period for new accounts
  • • Monthly or annual subscription options available
  • • Pricing varies by organization size and features used
  • • Payment processing fees may apply for transactions

Billing & Refunds

  • • Automatic billing on your chosen payment method
  • • All fees are due in advance of service period
  • • Refunds considered on case-by-case basis
  • • Account suspension for overdue payments

Marketplace Transactions

For marketplace transactions between customers and vendors, TaskScout facilitates payments but does not guarantee the quality of work performed. Disputes should be resolved directly between parties.

Limitation of Liability

Service Availability

While we strive for 99.9% uptime, TaskScout is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for service interruptions, data loss, or damages resulting from platform usage.

Third-Party Services

Our platform integrates with third-party services (Google Calendar, payment processors, etc.). We are not responsible for the availability or performance of these external services.

Maximum Liability

In any event, TaskScout's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the service during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Termination & Data Retention

Account Termination

  • • Either party may terminate this agreement at any time
  • • 30 days written notice required for termination
  • • No refunds for unused portions of paid subscriptions
  • • Immediate termination for terms violations

Data Handling

  • • Account data retained for 90 days after termination
  • • Data export available upon request during retention period
  • • Permanent deletion after retention period expires
  • • Legal obligations may extend retention periods
